| When the pilot-boat of the Solis's expedition
saw a small mountain or hill in the "Rio de la Plata" (in the 16th century) , wrote in the travel-book "Monte vid d.e.o.". Id est: "Mountain I saw from East to West". So was born the name of the Uruguay's Metropolis. |
